Brewster-Carmel Garden Club

The Brewster-Carmel Garden Club is a welcoming community for anyone with a love of plants, floral design, and gardening. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, our club invites you to explore, learn, and grow alongside fellow enthusiasts.

We hold ten regular meetings each year, typically on the second Tuesday of the month at Cornerstone Park, 1 Fair Street, Carmel, NY 10512. Each gathering features engaging programs with guest speakers covering a wide range of topics in horticulture and design.

Our club also enjoys exciting field trips to regional gardens, herb fairs, and horticultural events, along with hands-on volunteer opportunities that give back to the community.

Members can participate as much as their schedules allow. While many of us call Brewster and Carmel home, we’re proud to welcome members from neighboring towns in both New York and Connecticut.

Notable Activities: Engages in civic beautification across Brewster and Carmel, planting and maintaining many public gardens. The club also hosts public garden tours and plant sales; for example, it launched a major garden tour in 2019 to benefit its civic projects and local children’s charities.
