The Grapevine Newsletter
Please follow the link to the latest edition of the 9th District's quarterly newsletter.
Find out what going on throughout the District with our member Garden Clubs.
Events and information are requested quarterly from the Grapevine Editor. Clubs submit their calendar events and other garden club info and pictures when requested to their Section Chair. Once all clubs in a section have submitted their info, the Section Chair sends everything to the Editor to be included in the newsletter as appropriate.
The Fall Grapevine issue will focus on Community Gardens – some of our gardens clubs have multiple gardens!
Your community spirit can be featured them in the Fall Grapevine.
Please share with Shannon Daugherty any pictures you have – recent and/or as your garden grew – and any info you’d like to share about the garden plus any publicity you’ve gotten.
Some things you might include:
- Where is it?
- When was it started?
- Who participates?
- Who visits it?
- How do you fund it?
- How often do you tend it?
- What problems have you faced?
- What do you grow?
- Why is it special to your club?
Deadline – Sept 1
Also! Don’t forget, there may be an award for your community garden.
Check out Club Awards! Work you do this year can be recognized by FGCNYS, Inc at the 2027 State Conference!
