Ardsley Garden Club
Through philanthropic, educational, and civic initiatives, the club plays an active role in the beautification and enhancement of the local community. Members participate in a wide variety of hands-on projects, including container gardening, rain gardens, vegetable growing, and sustainable landscape design.
With a membership of over 50 individuals ranging from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned horticulturists, the club offers a welcoming environment for all experience levels. Monthly meetings are held from September through June (excluding January) and feature engaging lectures, field trips, garden tours, plant exchanges, and community outreach efforts.
The Garden Club of Larchmont is open to all who have an interest in gardening and a desire to make a difference in their local environment.
Notable Activities: A century-old club that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013 with a public garden party. As a centennial gift, the club funded and designed a new landscape for the Larchmont Public Library, including new paths, benches, and a chess table. The Garden Club of Larchmont continues to maintain library gardens and sponsor civic landscaping projects in the Larchmont-Mamaroneck area.
