Hospitality Chairs

9th District General Meetings are hosted on a rotating basis by Section Chairs. Each section, when it’s their turn to host, selects venue, speaker and provides continental breakfast for meetings.

  • Section 1: Peekskill, Yorktown, Brewster-Carmel, Lake Mahopac
  • Section 2A: Briarcliff Manor, Chappaqua
  • Section 2B: Hopp Ground, Poundridge
  • Section 3: Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Little Gardens of Tarrytown, Parkway Gardens/Parkway Homes
  • Section 4: Boulder Ledge, Larchmont
  • Section 5: City Island, Luther Burbank, Morsemere, New Rochelle

Garden Tours

Step into the vibrant world of garden design and horticultural excellence. Our member clubs host seasonal garden tours that showcase private and public gardens filled with creativity, native plants, and sustainable practices. Our tours offer an unforgettable journey through nature’s beauty.

Garden Therapy Program

Through hands-on activities like floral arranging, container gardening, and seasonal crafts, our member clubs deliver joy, creativity, and connection to seniors, veterans, individuals in recovery, and community members in assisted living facilities. These monthly sessions nurture more than plants; they stimulate memory and foster meaningful bonds.

Flower Shows

Our Flower Shows bring together design, education, and creativity in full bloom. Open to members and the public, these events showcase the talents of our clubs in floral arranging, horticulture, and conservation. Learn how to participate, view past award winners, and explore our vibrant photo gallery of floral excellencetings.

Schools

Interested in becoming a flower show judge or simply want to deepen your floral knowledge? Our Flower Show Schools, certified by the National Garden Clubs, offer expert instruction in horticulture, design, and judging standards. Open to members and the public, these programs are a blooming opportunity to elevate your passion into expertise.

Blue Star Memorial

Blue Star Memorial By-Way Markers pay tribute to the men and women of America’s Military. 20 Blue Star Memorial Gardens have been installed and are maintained by Clubs in the 9th District since the program began in 1945.

Book of Tribute

Book of Tribute Donations fund the 9th District Scholarship Fund.

Book of Recognition are member dedications at the FGCNYS, Inc. level. (Donation $10)
