Parkway Gardens / Parkway Homes Garden Club
Founded in 1962 in the Parkway Gardens and Parkway Homes neighborhoods of Greenburgh, New York, the Parkway Gardens / Parkway Homes Garden Club—originally known as The Carver Garden Club—has served as a vital part of the local community for over half a century.
Established during a time of great social and cultural change, the club became a gathering place for residents committed to beautifying their surroundings, cultivating gardens, and building strong neighborhood ties. It holds the distinction of being one of the earliest community garden clubs in the region, with a legacy deeply intertwined with the history and development of Greenburgh.
Over the decades, the club has been involved in numerous civic beautification projects, gardening workshops, and environmental education initiatives.
Notable Activities: PG/PH GC maintains a Blue Star Memorial Marker to honor local veterans of war. Our annual June plant sale is a much anticipated community event. The Club collaborates with the Town of Greenburgh Arts & Culture Committee to host an annual fall flower show.
