Supporting Our Clubs in Growing Stronger Communities

We’re proud to connect our member clubs with funding opportunities that help bring your green dreams to life. Through partnerships with the National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, we encourage all eligible clubs to explore and apply for grants that support education, beautification, conservation, and community engagement projects.

Below is a list of current grants available to our member clubs:

NGC Plant America Grants

NGC & Keep America Beautiful (KAB) offer PLANT AMERICA grants of up to $1,000 for cleaning and planting at Blue Star and Gold Star Memorials.  Idea: Focus on red, white & blue for America’s 250th Celebration!

NGC member clubs are eligible – only one application per club.  May be used on more than one site. KAB affiliate collaboration encouraged.

Funds may be used for litter removal, planting, and beautification (not for memorial repairs).

Up to $1,000 is available.  75% paid upfront. 25% after final report of completion.

DEADLINES FOR APPLICATIONS: March 5, 2026

PROJECT COMPLETION REPORT: August 1, 2026

Funds cannot be used for salaries, personal benefits or projects without active club participation.

  1. Prepare a project proposal or description.
  2. Submit your application directly through the sponsoring organization.
  3. Reach out to the 9th District if you need guidance or support with your application.
